So I'm back. After spending just a little more than 11 months in Iraq, I returned just in time for another Halloween and a trip home for Wisconsin's opening deer hunting weekend come November 19th. But what I'm most excited for is being home for the first time in five years for Thanksgiving, my mother's best and most favorite meal to make. But I'll write more about that later. What I plan on doing the next couple of days is finally posting all the journal/blog entries I wrote and never posted while I was in the desert. Many of my nights were spent writing these upcoming blogs, only to find that my internet wouldn't work when I wanted to post them, or more often than not, I would find myself falling asleep as I finished a blog, never actually posting it after I was done. But here I am, all snug on a Sunday afternoon, in the good ol' U.S. of A, watching the Packers play the Jets, and finally playing catch up on my blogs. So stay tuned in the next couple of days for my updated blogs to be posted. I'll have dates on them so you can see when it was in my deployment that I wrote them. Thank you all for your support and well wishes throughout the year. I really couldn't have gotten through it all if it hadn't been for you. Because of you I was able to Carry On...
